CLARE
BROWN - Production Designer
The
U.K.-bred and -educated Brown contributes her skills,
education and knack for blending realisim and colorful
exaggeration. Continuing the theory that the Brits have
the best eye for Americana, she infuses the rural setting
of "Sunrise, Illinois" with a vibrant, memorable edge
that visually provides mood and background beyond character
and dialogue.
Armed
with interior design training from London's Chelsea
School of Art and Wilcot School of Design and film school
training in the U.S., she broke in to production design
through music videos for Chaka Kahn and Fantastic Four
and the television series MIKE HAMMER before moving
on to motion pictures. Her recent credits include Kingsize
Entertainment's EASTSIDE, Zero Films' WELCOME SAYS THE
ANGEL, HARD DRIVE, LAY OF THE LAND and THE CRAP GAME.
She also has an impressive interior design clientele,
which includes Sting and Don Henley.
